Frugal Fanny Strikes Again! Deal Alert and Follow Up!

DC_moneyin20s_120.jpg

First off, I found a website of a frugalista who already did some of the coupon/deal seeking leg work for us- http://www.jillcataldo.com/. If you scroll down the right hand side of her web page, you will see a link for "coupon policies". Here you will find some info regarding the policies of specific stores. For example- Walgreens, CVS and Target all accept store coupons stacked WITH manufacturer coupons. This is often how you get things for free or pennies.

Secondly- FREE DETERGENT DEAL ALERT!!!
If you have a CVS in your area, check the ad (online or paper) to see if they are running Purex laundry detergent for Buy One Get One Free (BOGO). If they are, click HERE:

to get a printable coupon for Purex- also BOGO.

A little known couponing tip that I just learned- if something is on sale for BOGO, and you have a BOGO coupon, you get TWO items for free!!!! Our CVS ad said that the limit is 4, but we have few CVss around here and you better believe I will be figuring out a way to get to all of them!

This sale is a regional one. Hopefully a CVS nearby is offering it too! Also, if you get to the coupons.com website via the link above and you don't see the Purex coupon right away, type in 44657 to the zip code and you should be able to find it.

Click on the back button after you've printed your coupon. It will print a 2nd time. After that, it will say "Print limit reached".

Happy Stockpiling!

You may want to check with the store first, because I have tried to use BOGO coupons with BOGO sales at both Meijer and Walgreen's and was turned down at both because they said I actually had to be purchasing something. It didn't make sense to me so you may want to double check first. I don't know how CVS works with it.
